Front End Developer - Internship

Overview

About the internship:

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilites include:

1. Develop modular and reusable UI components using vanilla JavaScript, CSS, and DOM APIs
2. Integrate frontend views with RESTful backend services, ensuring accurate data handling and state management
3. Implement responsive layouts compliant with internal UX guidelines and device compatibility policies
4. Contribute to version controlled workflows using Git and GitHub including branches, code reviews, and merge requests
5. Diagnose and resolve UI defects, performance issues, and browser inconsistencies using debugging tools
6. Write code in accordance with internal secure coding guidelines and contribute to team level documentation
7. Collaborate with cross functional engineering teams to support new features, enhancements, and platform wide upgrades

Stipend:

INR₹ 35,000 - 40,000 /month

Skills required:

HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Git and React

Other Requirements:

1. Strong understanding of JavaScript fundamentals and browser runtime behavior

2. Clear knowledge of web layout fundamentals including semantic HTML and CSS

3. Practical experience manipulating the DOM and handling client side interactions

4. Basic familiarity consuming REST APIs including JSON parsing and error handling

5. Working proficiency with Git and Github for code versioning and collaborative development

6. Demonstrated ability to learn new tools and frameworks as required by project scope

7. Effective written and verbal communication skills as required for cross team collaboration

8. Ability to commit to a full time six month internship without interruption
