Front-end Developer

Position Summary:

Desired skills and experience:

• Extensive experience with front-end technologies such as React, Angular, Material UI, Bootstrap, JavaScript, WordPress, HTML5, CSS3, and JQuery.
• Experience with design principals.
• Proficiency with Photoshop and Figma.
• Collaborating with UX/UI designers.
• Experience in developing web applications using RESTful Services.
• Experience with tools such as Eclipse, IntelliJ, Maven,Git, etc.
• Experience with test driven development as it applies to creating the UI.
• Should be able to design the front end from scratch.
• Select the right controls and UI patterns to improve usability.
• Create responsive designs to improve cross browser, cross-device compatibility.
• Knowledge of SEO fundamentals related to front-end development (semantic HTML, page load speed, accessibility, structured data, search engine ranking).
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process – Active participation in daily Scrum meetings to share current status, offer support to other colleagues and raise concerns if waste is identified.
• Solid software development and architectural skills with a passion to build quality applications.
• Accountability delivery of the assigned tasks on time, ensuring high quality and high performance.
• Strong written and oral communication skills in English.
• Must be comfortable working with a geographically dispersed team.
• Must be able to work with a global clientele to troubleshoot and implement solutions.
• Working knowledge in Agile Methodology.
• Ability to work on multiple projects at one time.
