About the job:

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain backend services and REST APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
2. Build responsive, user-friendly front-end interfaces using React.js or Angular.
3. Collaborate with the team to design and implement product features from scratch.
4. Integrate AI tools and APIs to deliver intelligent, data-driven user experiences.
5. Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms like AWS under team guidance.
6. Write clean, testable, and well-documented code following SOLID principles and design patterns.
7. Work with relational and NoSQL databases to design schemas and write optimized queries.
8. Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure quality and reliability.
9. Participate in code reviews, team meetings, and sprint planning sessions.
10. Stay updated on emerging technologies and contribute fresh ideas to the team.

Required:

1. Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Basic knowledge of Git for version control, including commits, branches, and pull request workflows.
3. Awareness of cloud platforms, especially AWS, is an added advantage.
4. Exposure to AI tools or APIs such as OpenAI, Gemini, etc., is a bonus.

Other Requirements:

1. Core Java
2. 1. Strong understanding of Core Java — OOP concepts, Collections, Exception Handling, and Multithreading.
3. 2. Familiarity with Java frameworks such as Spring Boot or Spring MVC (preferred).
4. Design Patterns & SOLID Principles
5. 1. Awareness of SOLID principles: Single Responsibility, Open/Closed, Liskov Substitution, Interface Segregation, Dependency Inversion.
6. 2. Knowledge of common design patterns: Singleton, Factory, Builder, MVC, Repository, and Observer.
7. Frontend Frameworks
8. 1. Working knowledge of React.js or Angular for building component-based UIs.
9. 2. Understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript fundamentals.
10. 3. Ability to consume REST APIs from the frontend and handle asynchronous data flows.
11. Database Knowledge
12. 1. Hands-on experience with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL, including writing queries, joins, and basic schema design.
13. 2. Awareness of NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or DynamoDB is a plus.
14. 3. Understanding of ORM tools like Hibernate or JPA for Java–database interaction.
15. REST API Skills
16. 1. Understanding of REST API design principles — HTTP methods (GET, POST, PUT, DELETE), status codes, and headers.
17. 2. Ability to build and test APIs using tools like Postman or Swagger.
18. 3. Awareness of API authentication basics such as JWT and OAuth 2.0.
