Full Stack Developer

About The Role

We are actively seeking a highly skilled and passionate Fullstack Developer with 3-5 years of experience, specializing in Next.js, to join our innovative engineering team. You will be a key player in building high-performance, scalable, and visually appealing web applications, leveraging Next.js for both its powerful frontend capabilities and its integrated backend features (API Routes, Server Components, etc.). This role requires a strong understanding of modern web development paradigms and a commitment to delivering exceptional user experiences.

Responsibilities

Development of cutting-edge web applications using Next.js, encompassing both frontend rendering (SSR, SSG, ISR) and backend functionalities (API Routes, Server Components/Actions).

Implement highly responsive and intuitive user interfaces with React.js (the core of Next.js), HTML5, CSS3, and TypeScript.

Design and develop robust RESTful APIs within the Next.js ecosystem or as standalone services, ensuring high performance, security, and scalability.

Collaborate closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other engineers to translate requirements into technical designs and deliver seamless features.

Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code, adhering to best practices for security, performance, and reliability across the entire stack.

Participate actively in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring code quality standards are met.

Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues across the full stack, from frontend rendering to backend data processing.

Contribute to architectural discussions and decisions, helping to evolve our application infrastructure and adopt new technologies.

Manage and optimize interactions with various database systems (e.g., SQL and NoSQL).

Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

3-5 years of demonstrable professional experience in fullstack web development.

Mandatory Expertise in Next.js: Proven experience with Next.js, including a strong understanding of its architecture, data fetching methods (SSR, SSG, ISR), API Routes, and recent features like Server Components/Actions.

Strong proficiency in React.js: In-depth knowledge of React.js, hooks, context API, and component-based architecture.

Expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript: Command of modern JavaScript (ES6+) and strong experience with TypeScript.

Solid understanding of core web technologies: HTML5, CSS3 (including preprocessors like SASS/LESS or frameworks like Tailwind CSS).

Proficiency in backend development (preferably Node.js): Experience building robust APIs and services.

Extensive experience with REST API design and implementation: Understanding of REST principles, API versioning, and authentication/authorization mechanisms (e.g., JWT, OAuth).

Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis).

Proficiency with containerization technologies (Docker) and version control systems (Git).

Solid understanding of software development best practices, including unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing.

Excellent problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and a methodical approach to debugging.

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Nice-to-Have Skills

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and deploying Next.js applications to serverless or containerized environments.

Familiarity with GraphQL.

Knowledge of microservices architecture.

Experience with real-time communication (e.g., WebSockets, MQTT).

Understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD automation beyond basic deployment.

A portfolio or GitHub profile showcasing Next.js projects.
