Roles and Responsiublities

About the Role

We’re building AI tools that help people search, understand, and work with complex documents and data. Our stack combines modern web tech with language models, embeddings, and retrieval systems. You’ll work on a small team and ship features that directly impact how users interact with our product.

What You’ll Work With

• Frontend: React, Next.js, Tailwind CSS, ShadCN
• Backend: Node.js, TypeScript, Next.js API routes
• Database: PostgreSQL (via Supabase)
• Infra: Vercel, Supabase, S3
• AI services: VoyageAI, LangChain, LangGraph, neo4j, Pinecone
• Build full stack features, from UI to API to database
• Create clean, reusable React components
• Design and optimize SQL queries
• Connect to language model APIs and embedding services
• Handle semantic/lexical search and retrieval logic
• Work closely with the team to shape UX and app flow
• Write maintainable, testable code

What You Should Know : Technical Skills

• Strong experience with React, Next.js, and TypeScript
• Comfortable with PostgreSQL and writing SQL
• Know how to build and use APIs
• Understand basic performance and deployment practices
• 3+ years of full stack development experience

Bonus If You Have

• Experience with Pinecone, pgvector, or other vector DBs
• Familiarity with LangChain, LangGraph, or similar tools
• Worked with Neo4j or knowledge graphs
• Know how to combine semantic and keyword search
• Built or used RAG (retrieval-augmented generation) pipelines
• Used embeddings from OpenAI, Cohere, or others,
• Understand how to incorporate memory into AI systems.
