Overview
Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer with strong frontend (Next.js, React) and backend (Node.js, Express.js) skills to contribute to the development of our e- commerce/marketplace platform. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of scalable architecture, RESTful APIs, secure coding practices, and responsive UI/UX.
Key Responsibilities:
Frontend Development:
- Build and maintain modern, responsive UI components using Next.js and React
- Implement cross-browser-compatible, mobile-first designs
- Optimize web performance (loading times, SEO, and Lighthouse scores)
- Integrate frontend with backend APIs
- Follow clean code practices and participate in code reviews
Backend Development:
- Design and implement scalable backend services using Node.js and Express.js
- Develop RESTful APIs for frontend consumption
- Build and maintain PostgreSQL databases with Prisma ORM
- Ensure secure authentication and authorization mechanisms
- Optimize queries and manage database performance
- Write and maintain API documentation
Collaboration:
- Work closely with design, product, and QA teams to deliver features on time
- Collaborate in technical discussions and sprint planning
- Participate in peer code reviews across frontend and backend components
Required Skills & Experience:
- 3-4+ years of full stack development experience
- Strong command over Next.js, React, JavaScript (ES6+)
- Advanced proficiency in Node.js, Express.js, and REST APIs
- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and Prisma ORM
- Strong understanding of responsive design and state management
- Experience with Git, CI/CD, and agile methodologies
- Proven experience with authentication, authorization, and secure coding practices
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with e-commerce or marketplace platforms
- Familiarity with Stripe or other payment gateway integrations
- Knowledge of SEO, performance tuning, and caching strategies
- Experience with AWS services like SNS, SQS
- Understanding of microservices architecture
- Portfolio demonstrating full stack project delivery
