Full Stack Developer

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in WordPress, Cloudflare, and server management. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in problem-solving, can ensure smooth performance of our platforms, and is proactive in maintaining uptime and security.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain, optimize, and enhance our WordPress-based website to ensure smooth functionality and performance.
• Monitor server health, uptime, and load and proactively address issues before they escalate.
• Implement performance improvements through Cloudflare configurations
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues quickly to minimize downtime.
• Ensure website security, backups, and scalability are consistently up to date.
• Collaborate with the content, SEO, and product teams to support publishing workflows and site improvements.
• Manage plugins, integrations, and backend processes to keep the site running efficiently.
• Be available during emergencies outside normal working hours to address critical technical issues.

What we are looking for:

• 3 - 5 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer
• Expert-level knowledge of WordPress (theme development, plugin customization, optimization).
• Strong Cloudflare expertise (caching, DNS, security, performance tuning).
• Hands-on experience with server management 
• Good understanding of front-end (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and back-end technologies.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve urgent issues quickly.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-Have:

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).
• Experience with performance monitoring tools.
• Exposure to high-traffic news or media websites.
