Full Stack Developer – CurateWise

CurateWise is building a platform that transforms digital content—videos, articles, podcasts, newsletters—into structured, guided learning journeys. Our mission is to help creators, educators, and experts turn their knowledge into learning experiences that learners can follow and pay for.

As a Full Stack Developer, you will architect, build, and scale core product features end-to-end. You’ll work directly with the founders to develop a seamless experience for creators and learners, integrating AI, content ingestion, and learning pathways.

Responsibilities

Backend & Platform

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs
• Build content ingestion pipelines (video, article, podcast, social content)
• Implement AI-assisted transformations (summaries, guides, learning outcomes, quizzes, etc.)
• Develop creator monetization systems (subscriptions, payouts, analytics, dashboards)
• Ensure platform security, reliability, and performance

Frontend & User Experience

• Build responsive UI for creators and learners (React/Next.js preferred)
• Develop intuitive workflows for content curation and guided-learning creation
• Implement dashboards, analytics, and discovery interfaces
• Collaborate on user flows, prototypes, and UX improvements

DevOps & Infrastructure

• Deploy and manage the application on cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure/Vercel)
• Work with CI/CD pipelines and automation
• Optimize for performance, cost-efficiency, and scalability
• Manage databases and storage for content and user data

Collaboration & Ownership

• Work closely with founders on roadmap and product direction
• Take full ownership of features from concept → build → ship → iterate
• Contribute to a lean, builder-first engineering culture
• Provide technical input on architecture, tool choices, and future engineering hires

Required Skills

Core Technical Skills

• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript
• Strong frontend skills (React, Next.js, or similar)
• Strong backend skills (Node.js, Express, Nest.js, or similar)
• Experience with relational or NoSQL databases (Postgres, MongoDB, etc.)
• Comfort with REST APIs or GraphQL

AI & Content Handling (Good to Have)

• Familiarity with LLMs and AI tooling (OpenAI APIs, prompt design, embeddings)
• Experience integrating content analysis or transformation workflows
• Understanding of NLP tasks (summaries, transcripts, tagging, etc.)

DevOps & Infra

• Experience with cloud deployment
• CI/CD, containerization (Docker), and monitoring
• Version control with Git/GitHub

Additional Skills

• Strong problem-solving and ownership mindset
• Ability to thrive in a fast-moving zero-to-one environment
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Passion for creators, learning, or EdTech is a bonus

Nice to Have

• Experience building creator tools, LMS platforms, or marketplaces
• Understanding of monetization: payouts, subscriptions, checkout flows
• Ability to contribute to product strategy & UI/UX decisions
• Experience with no-code/low-code tools for rapid prototyping
