About the job:

Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs):

1. Ship production code: Deliver working, tested features in every 2-week sprint cycle, with no half-done work or hidden blockers, and raise issues within hours if stuck.

2. Own your modules end-to-end: Take full ownership of assigned backend modules, including API design, database schema, and deployment, ensuring you write, test, and fix your code.

3. Communicate daily, clearly, and proactively: Update progress on Linear every working day, flag risks early, ask questions, and write clear commit messages and PR descriptions.

4. Deliver measurable output: Achieve a minimum of 3-5 meaningful PRs merged per week, maintain zero critical production bugs from your modules, and complete or re-scope 100% of assigned sprint tasks with reasoning.

5. Learn fast and apply faster: Quickly pick up new tools, patterns, and codebases, and apply learnings immediately without requiring basic hand-holding.

Other Requirements:

1. Strict eligibility — please do not apply if you do not meet these:
2. 1. Tier-1 college only — IITs, NITs, BITS, IIITs, DTU, NSUT, IIIT-Delhi, or equivalent top-tier engineering institutes. No exceptions.
3. 2. Location locked — Must be currently based in Gurgaon, Delhi, or Faridabad. No relocation support. No candidates from other cities, regardless of how strong the profile.
4. 3. In-office only, full-time — This is a 100% work-from-office at our Gurgaon office. No work-from-home. No hybrid. No remote days. No exceptions for any schedules, family events, or personal convenience.
5. 4. Immediate joiners preferred — We are hiring to ship, not to train for 3 months before you start. If you can't start within 2 weeks of selection, your application will not be considered.
