Our mission: Provide shop-floor intelligence that enables manufacturers and retailers to sense, reason, and act with precision.

Current Focus: Manufacturing and retail operations (Horizon 1), expanding to warehousing, QSR, and pharma (Horizon 2).

The Role

We're looking for a Full Stack Developer to build and maintain the cloud and edge-based software platform that powers wiseDo's industrial AI stack. You'll own features spanning hardware-device communication, real-time analytics dashboards, MES (Manufacturing Execution System) integrations, and secure APIs—all critical to delivering customer value.

Key Responsibilities

Platform & Backend Development

• Design and build REST/GraphQL APIs for edge device communication, event ingestion, and analytics
• Develop cloud-based microservices for real-time processing of computer vision events and industrial metrics
• Implement database schemas and query optimization for high-throughput event data (NATS JetStream, PostgreSQL/TimescaleDB)
• Build integrations with manufacturing systems (OPC-UA, ERP systems like Tally/SAP, ISA-95 MES protocols)
• Handle authentication, authorization, and end-to-end encryption for secure data transmission

Frontend & UI Development

• Build responsive web dashboards and admin panels for real-time visualization of shop-floor events, cycle-time intelligence, and KPIs
• Create no-code/low-code configuration interfaces for customers to set up event monitoring rules and thresholds
• Develop mobile-friendly interfaces for real-time alerts and analytics
• Implement state management and optimize frontend performance for real-time data updates

Edge-Cloud Integration

• Develop and optimize communication protocols between edge devices (Jetson Orin Nano–based cameras) and cloud backend
• Manage device onboarding, firmware updates, and edge configuration management
• Monitor device health, logs, and performance metrics

DevOps & Infrastructure

• Containerize applications (Docker, Kubernetes); optimize for both edge and cloud environments
• Set up CI/CD pipelines for rapid, reliable deployments
• Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP), databases, and monitoring
• Implement security best practices and compliance measures (data encryption, audit logs)

Collaboration & Ownership

• Work closely with the computer vision/ML team to integrate AI models into the platform
• Partner with product and sales teams to understand customer requirements and translate them into features
• Take ownership of end-to-end feature delivery, from design through deployment

Required Qualifications

• 2-5 years of software development experience (full-stack preferred)
• Strong proficiency in at least one modern backend language (Python, Node.js, Go, Java)
• Solid experience building frontend applications (React, Vue, Angular, or equivalent)
• Experience with REST API design and HTTP fundamentals
• Familiarity with SQL databases and query optimization
• Understanding of Docker and containerization basics
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) or Linux server administration
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced startup environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with real-time data processing systems (NATS, Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar)
• Familiarity with manufacturing/ERP systems (OPC-UA, MES, ISA-95, Tally, SAP)
• Experience with time-series databases (TimescaleDB, InfluxDB, Prometheus)
• Knowledge of edge computing or IoT platforms (Jetson, AWS IoT Greengrass, Azure IoT)
• Experience with GraphQL development
• Kubernetes (K3s, K8s) cluster setup and management
• Exposure to computer vision or ML model serving (TensorRT, ONNX, Triton)
• Strong DevOps experience (infrastructure as code, monitoring, logging)
• Previous startup or early-stage company experience

Backend: Python (FastAPI/Django), Node.js, PostgreSQL, TimescaleDB, NATS JetStream, MinIO

Frontend: React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, Redux/Zustand

Edge: Docker, Jetson inference frameworks (TensorRT, Triton)

Cloud: AWS (EC2, RDS, S3, IoT Greengrass), Kubernetes (K3s)

DevOps: GitHub Actions, Docker, Linux, Terraform (infrastructure as code)

APIs & Protocols: REST, WebSockets, OPC-UA, MQTT
