About the job:

Key Responsibilities:

1. Build end-to-end features including API, database, and UI components.
2. Develop backend services using Python, Django, and Django REST Framework.
3. Create frontend interfaces using Bootstrap and JavaScript.
4. Design and consume REST APIs and ensure smooth integration between frontend and backend.
5. Handle error states, validations, and edge cases for robust application performance.
6. Integrate LLM APIs into product features and develop AI-driven workflows.
7. Work on prompt engineering, AI pipelines, and optimization of cost, latency, and token usage.
8. Design and manage PostgreSQL database schemas.
9. Write efficient SQL queries, joins, and perform basic database optimizations.
10. Ensure data consistency, scalability, and performance.
11. Build responsive user interfaces based on Figma designs and requirements.
12. Maintain smooth UX for data-heavy applications.
13. Debug and fix issues across frontend and backend systems.
14. Write clean, maintainable, and production-ready code.
15. Assist in deployment processes and understand basic CI/CD workflows.
16. Take ownership of features from development to production deployment.
17. Work in fast-paced, iterative development cycles with direct collaboration with founders.

Other Requirements:

1. 1. Minimum 1 year of experience in full-stack development.
2. 2. Strong proficiency in Python, Django, and Django REST Framework (DRF).
3. 3. Good experience with Bootstrap for frontend development.
4. 4. Solid understanding of REST APIs and API integration.
5. 5. Working knowledge of PostgreSQL database.
6. 6. Comfortable with Git and version control systems.
7. 7. Experience integrating at least one LLM/AI API into a real-world feature.
8. Good to Have:
9. 8. Experience with Python and Django-based application development.
10. 9. Familiarity with Bootstrap and responsive UI development.
11. 10. Basic understanding of system design concepts.
12. 11. Exposure to SaaS products, dashboards, or admin panels.
13. 12. Experience with RAG systems, vector databases (pgvector, Pinecone, etc.), or embeddings.
14. 13. Familiarity with AI coding tools like Cursor, Claude Code, or GitHub Copilot.
15. 14. Understanding of prompt engineering and structured output handling.
