About The Team

Frontline, Nutanix’s in-house CPQ tool developed by the SaaS team, replaces Salesforce CPQ (formerly Steelbrick). Our dedicated and high-performing team spearheads critical Nutanix initiatives, from hardware platform launches to introducing new software SKUs. Integrated into the SaaS organization’s pre-sales suite, Frontline consistently enhances customer user experiences and automates manual tasks for sales and renewal teams, ensuring efficiency and seamless operations. Our team culture prioritises open communication, mutual respect, and a shared commitment to excellence. Regarding our team’s work structure, we adopt a hybrid model, wherein team members are scheduled to be in the office three days a week. This arrangement facilitates essential face-to-face interactions and collaborative efforts among team members.

Your Role

• Bachelor and/or Master in computer science OR related field of study.
• 7+ years experience with Back end and front end development of Cloud/SaaS Applications.
• Proficiency in Java
• Understanding of Micro services, queues, and distributed architectures.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript and familiarity with one or more JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, and Backbone.
• Writing efficient, scalable, and clean code in the front end along with unit and integration tests.
• Familiarity with HTML and CSS.
• Fluency with SQL/NoSQL databases like Postgres, MongoDB, or Cassandra.
• Good problem-solving skills and hunger to learn new technologies.
• Strong in Data structures and Algorithms and Analytical Skills
• Collaborate with other teammates in technical design discussions.
• Debug and fix production/customer issues.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  
  

What You Will Bring

• You will be part of the implementation team responsible for building innovative cloud products.
• Writing efficient, scalable, and clean code including both backend and frontend
• Developing features with Java and related technologies
• Translate requirements and user stories into design specifications and solid code.
• Integrating with a third-party system via RESTful/SOAP APIs.
• Able to demonstrate creating well-architected REST APIs
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production and non-production environments.
  
  

Work Arrangement

Hybrid: This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. For most roles, that will mean coming into an office a minimum of 3 days per week, however certain roles and/or teams may require more frequent in-office presence. Additional team-specific guidance and norms will be provided by your manager.
