GoPicnic is a travel-tech startup that helps users discover, filter, and book curated one-day trips with ease. Our platform integrates smart features like AI chat support, vendor bidding, real-time tracking, and Google Places API reviews to deliver a seamless travel experience. We are looking for an experienced full stack developer (individual contributor) to build, optimize, and maintain scalable web solutions for GoPicnic’s platform. You will take ownership of end-to-end feature development, from UI to backend integration, while ensuring a smooth user experience for travelers, vendors, and administrators.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance features on the existing platform using React (TypeScript) for frontend and Node.js (Express) for backend.
• Build and optimize MongoDB (Atlas) schemas and queries for high performance and scalability.
• Implement pending features like the dynamic package filter sidebar, Google Places API review integration, and real-time vehicle tracking on the admin dashboard.
• Integrate APIs (Google Places, OTP login, AI chatbot systems like Tidio) and manage third-party service usage efficiently.
• Ensure secure role-based authentication for users, partners, vendors, and admins.
• Work on UI/UX improvements such as personalized popups, responsive layouts, and social media integrations.
• Collaborate with business and design teams to translate requirements into deployable features quickly.
• Handle deployment, testing, and bug fixes with minimal supervision.
