Full Stack Developer (MERN)

Overview

We are looking for a passionate AI Engineer Intern who is eager to explore the intersection of Artificial Intelligence and Web Development. You’ll be working on innovative projects that integrate AI models with modern web apps built using the MERN stack.This internship will provide you exposure to real-world AI applications, API integrations, data pipelines, and end-to-end deployment scenarios.

Key Responsibilities:

· Collaborate with AI engineers and full-stack developers to design, build, and deploy AI-powered features.

· Integrate machine learning or generative AI APIs (like OpenAI, Hugging Face) into React and Node.js applications.

· Work on data preprocessing, training lightweight models, and deploying them as microservices.

· Develop and maintain RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js.

· Build interactive front-end components using React.js to visualize AI outputs.

· Assist in building dashboards, analytics, or chatbot interfaces.

· Debug, test, and optimize performance across the AI + web stack.

· Document processes, research findings, and codebase.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

Core Tech Stack:

· MERN Stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js)

· Python (for AI/ML scripts or model handling)

· REST APIs, JSON

AI/ML Knowledge:

· Familiarity with basic machine learning / deep learning concepts

· Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn is a plus

· Experience with OpenAI, HuggingFace Transformers, or similar APIs is desirable

Other Desirables:

· Git/GitHub experience

· Understanding of vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate) is a bonus

· Familiarity with tools like Postman, Docker, or CI/CD pipelines is advantageous

· Strong problem-solving and research skills

· Final year student / recent graduate in Computer Science, AI, or related field
