Full Stack Developer (Mid/Senior)

Location: Gurugram (5 days/week, in-office)

Globeia is a bootstrapped document and identity services platform operating across Canada, the US, and Europe. Over the last five years, we’ve grown to $5M ARR without external funding and are targeting $12M ARR before raising a round.

We operate in a fragmented global market where individuals must manage police clearances, fingerprinting, attestations, and identity verification across multiple countries ,processes that are still manual and operationally heavy.

We validated demand by building a fingerprinting network across 20 global cities. Now, we are rebuilding our core product from scratch to create a scalable, technology-first foundation for multi-country document workflows.

We are entering a ground-up product phase focused on building durable infrastructure, not surface-level features. We are hiring a Full Stack Developer with expertise in React, Next.js, and backend development to help build and scale modern web applications. In this role, you will work across the entire tech stack developing clean frontend interfaces, building robust APIs, and integrating backend services.

Responsibilities

• Frontend Development: Build and maintain responsive web application features using Next.js and React 19.
• Backend Services: Design, test, and maintain robust APIs and scalable backend logic using TypeScript and NestJS.
• Database Management: Structure clean data flows and write optimized queries using Prisma against Postgres databases.
• Asynchronous Jobs: Implement and manage reliable background processing and task queues using BullMQ.
• Monorepo Workflows: Work efficiently within a shared Turborepo monorepo ecosystem to ensure fast, consistent development workflows.
• Collaboration: Partner closely with senior engineering leads to implement features using established patterns, while collaborating with product and design teams.
• Code Maintenance: Participate in code reviews and demonstrate a high comfort level reading, understanding, and expanding existing code bases without the need to rewrite them. Feature Ownership: Pick up engineering tickets to build, own, and ship customer-facing flows end-to-end.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: 3+ years of professional full-stack experience, with a well-balanced background across both frontend and backend development (not pure-frontend or pure-backend).
• Core Skills: Deep, production-grade TypeScript experience and strong proficiency in Next.js and modern React development.
• Backend & DB Stack: Hands-on experience working with NestJS, Prisma, and Postgres.
• Distributed Tools: Familiarity with background message queues (like BullMQ) and working inside a monorepo setup (like Turborepo).
• Product Track Record: Proven experience building and successfully shipping complex, customer-facing interfaces and product flows to production.
• Engineering Mindset: Comfort analyzing other people's code to build on top of it, alongside a genuine curiosity about system architecture and design patterns.
