Role Summary:

We are looking for a passionate Full Stack Developer with expertise in Java + Spring Boot who can also train students and work on internal projects for Web D School. This hybrid role blends hands-on development work with student mentoring, enabling you to shape future tech professionals while contributing to impactful tech products.

Key Responsibilities:

Training & Mentorship

• Deliver engaging sessions on Java Full Stack, including Spring Boot, REST APIs, React/Angular, and DevOps basics.
• Mentor students on capstone projects and guide them through real-world use cases.
• Conduct code reviews, give personalized feedback, and track student progress.
• Stay updated with industry trends and contribute to curriculum improvements (especially AI-integrated development).
• Support webinars, tech talks, and hackathons.

Development

• Build and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, React, and/or Angular.
• Collaborate on internal projects such as our LMS, job portal, and AI-integrated tools.
• Work with REST APIs, MySQL/PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and DevOps pipelines.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Debug, test, and optimize code for performance and scalability.
• Explore integration of AI features (e.g., AI-powered search, chatbot modules).

Ideal candidate profile:

• 5+ years of experience in Java Full Stack Development.
• Strong expertise in Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate, MySQL/PostgreSQL, and frontend frameworks (React/Angular).
• Experience with REST APIs, Git/GitHub, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of AI tools (ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, etc.) is a plus.
• Prior teaching/training experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Passion for teaching, mentoring, and lifelong learning.

Good to Have:

• Familiarity with Microservices, Kafka, Redis, AWS, or Azure.
• Exposure to AI-assisted coding workflows.
• Ability to work on cross-stack projects (Node.js, Python, etc.).
