Role Description

We are looking for a skilled Full-Stack Shopify Developer who can build, customize, and maintain high-quality Shopify stores, Shopify public apps, and Shopify custom apps. This role requires deep knowledge of Shopify's ecosystem including Storefront, Admin APIs, UI Extensions, Checkout UI Extensions, Shopify Functions, and app development using the Shopify App Template.

You will collaborate with the product and project teams to ship high-impact features, ensure performance and security best practices, and contribute to scalable engineering processes.

Technical Skills

• Shopify Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+)
• Node.js, Express.js, React.js (Polaris), GraphQL
• Experience with Shopify App Template or Remix/Next.js for Shopify
• Working knowledge of REST APIs, Webhooks, OAuth
• Experience with MongoDB or SQL systems
• Git, CI/CD, basic cloud hosting (AWS or similar)
  
  

• 1-2 years of hands-on experience in Shopify development (themes, apps, custom APIs).
• Proven experience building Shopify public apps or custom apps end-to-end.
• Practical experience working with Storefront & Admin APIs, including rate limits, pagination, and API versioning.
• At least 1–2 UI/Checkout UI Extensions built and deployed in production.
• Experience working with Node.js/Express + React (Polaris) in real-world Shopify merchant environments.
• Prior experience handling app deployments, error logging, and merchant support is a strong plus.
  
  

• Experience with Shopify Plus, B2B features, and multi-location inventory
• Knowledge of AWS services (Lambda, S3, EventBridge, SES, EC2)
• Experience with performance tools (Lighthouse, Core Web Vitals)
• Understanding of security topics such as CORS, CSP, encryption, and API security
  
  

• Strong problem-solving and debugging abilities
• Clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to estimate, plan, and execute deliverables independently
• Ownership mindset and attention to detail
  
  

• Building new public apps for the Shopify App Store
• Scaling existing apps used by thousands of merchants
• Creating custom apps for Shopify Plus brands
• Solving end-to-end architectural problems including performance, infrastructure, security, and UI
• Contributing to internal tools, automation, and AI-assisted developer workflows
