We are seeking full stack software engineers with 2+ years' work experience residing in Vadodra, Virar, or Bhuj to build robust, scalable, low-latency software solutions for property insurance companies.

The most suitable candidate is one that has demonstrated excellence in full stack software engineering, code review, and unit tests consistently for over TWO years.

The Role

• This is a full-time on-site role for a Full Stack Software Engineer at Taurus Technologies offices in Virar, Vadodra, and Bhuj.
• You will be involved in developing, maintaining, and enhancing insuretech software applications, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and build new features.
• As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you will also be responsible for conducting code reviews, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the scalability and performance of the applications.

Major Functions

• Work closely with other developers and product managers to build robust, scalable, low-latency software solutions for Insure-tech industry
• Design client-side and server-side architecture
• Work across Frontend, Backend, and Database systems in this Full-Stack position
• Test software to ensure accuracy, performance, and usability
• Work with CI/CD tooling to improve and automate deployments
• Review code, write unit tests, and follow software engineering best practices.
• Develop yourself as an engineer and leader through continuous growth and sharing expertise with others.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of full stack development experience
• Experience with one of the following languages is an advantage: PHP, Python, Javascript
• Experience with React JS, Next JS, Laravel PHP a plus
• Experience in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field (non-Computer Science/Engineering degrees will be considered with appropriate industry experience)
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to deliver results.
• Insurance industry knowledge would be a plus.
• Ability to work effectively with the team and even be a team leader
