Full-Stack VB.NET Developer

Overview

We are seeking an experienced VB.NET Developer with strong expertise in web development, SQL Server, and full-stack programming (front-end & back-end). The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing applications using VB.NET, ASP.NET, and modern web technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain VB.NET applications with ASP.NET (Web Forms/MVC).
• Design and optimize SQL Server databases (queries, stored procedures, indexing).
• Build responsive front-end interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and/or frameworks like React/Angular.
• Work with back-end services, APIs, and integrations (REST/SOAP).
• Debug, troubleshoot, and improve legacy VB.NET code.
• Collaborate with teams using Git, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.

Required Skills & Qualifications

✔ VB.NET (must-have, 3+ years of experience)
✔ ASP.NET (Web Forms / MVC)
✔ SQL Server (T-SQL, stored procedures, performance tuning)
✔ Front-End: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery (React/Angular is a plus)
✔ Back-End: Web API, Entity Framework, ADO.NET
✔ Version Control: Git, Azure DevOps, or similar
✔ Optional (Nice-to-Have):

• C# knowledge (since many VB.NET projects coexist with C#)
• Experience with .NET Core/.NET 6+
• Azure/AWS cloud deployment

Preferred Experience

• Migrating legacy VB.NET apps to modern frameworks.
• Working with WPF/WinForms (if desktop apps are involved).
• Knowledge of Blazor (if modernizing to .NET 6+).
