Gen AI Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Generative AI Engineer with deep experience in building, deploying, and optimizing LLM-based applications and Agentic systems. You’ll work on production-grade AI solutions involving fine-tuned models, retrieval systems, and intelligent agents. This is not a research-only or POC-focused role — we are looking for someone with hands-on deployment experience in real-world environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy LLM-powered AI agents in production environments.
• Fine-tune and optimize large language models (e.g., GPT variants or open-source LLMs like LLaMA, Mistral, Falcon).
• Design and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines for knowledge-grounded responses.
• Build and integrate robust APIs for AI model access and service communication.
• Lead the training and deployment of AI agents with real-time decision-making capabilities, not just prototypes or demos.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with business needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into broader system architectures.

Must-Have Skills

• 4–5 years of total experience, with at least 2–3 years specifically in building Agentic AI systems or intelligent bots.
• Demonstrated success in production deployment of LLM-based applications.
• Experience with fine-tuning, prompt engineering, and performance optimization of models like GPT or open-source alternatives.
• Proven work on live agent-based systems, not limited to proof-of-concept or research projects.
• Strong understanding and hands-on experience with RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architecture.
• Proficiency in API development, integration, and orchestration for AI services.
• Familiarity with on-premise and/or cloud-based deployment platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, or private infra).

Nice to Have

• Experience managing AI infrastructure and deploying models in scalable, secure environments.
• Understanding of compliance, privacy, and performance considerations in enterprise AI solutions.
• Exposure to containerization, orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines for ML models.

Pay: ₹266,616.95 - ₹1,142,788.52 per year
