Gen AI Engineer

What You’ll Do

• Analyze user needs and develop software solutions for the middle-tier and information integration layers of the platform.
• Own end-to-end solution delivery: requirements gathering, design, modeling, development, testing, deployment, and documentation.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, testers, and support teams to deliver robust releases.
• Evaluate feasibility and deliver solutions aligned with business needs and technical excellence.
• Gain deep knowledge of business modules and demonstrate complex end-to-end use cases.
• Innovate on technology architecture, feature development, and platform extensibility.
• Research and recommend forward-thinking AI/Gen AI technologies to drive product differentiation.
• Help define development standards and mentor team members through knowledge sharing.

Must-Have Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of software development experience with a strong foundation in:
• Python (OOP, Design Patterns, Data Structures, Algorithms)
• Microservices architecture and event-driven systems
• RESTful API design and development
• 3–5 years of experience designing and building scalable platform components
• Experience with AWS cloud services
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience using Gen AI tools like GitHub Copilot or Cursor
• Strong ability to research, experiment, and adapt to new technologies quickly
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Good-to-Have

• Knowledge of Prompt Engineering, Tokens, and Vector Embeddings
• Understanding of LLMs (Large Language Models)
• Experience with ML Libraries like PyTorch, HuggingFace Transformers

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Strong grasp of enterprise software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Self-driven, collaborative, and quick to pick up new technologies
