As a Data Scientist at IBM, you will help transform our clients’ data into tangible business value by analyzing information, communicating outcomes and collaborating on product development. Your Role And Responsibilities
Candidate with strong foundation in programming and mathematics, with enthusiasm for learning and applying the latest AI technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing, fine-tuning, and deploying generative AI models including large language models (LLMs), computer vision models, and multimodal system
- Support the implementation of prompt engineering techniques and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems
- Perform model evaluation, testing, and performance optimisation
- Proficiency in Python programming with experience in relevant libraries (pandas, numpy, scikit-learn)
- Understanding of machine learning fundamentals and statistical concepts
- Basic knowledge of deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar)
- Experience with generative AI models (GPT, BERT, diffusion models, etc
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and their AI services
- Experience with Jupyter notebooks, Docker, and containerization
- Knowledge of natural language processing (NLP) or computer vision
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related technical field
