What you’ll be doing:

• Master Plan Digitization:
• Digitize land use plans and zoning maps across multiple cities, ensuring accuracy and geospatial alignment.
• Infrastructure Layer Mapping:
• Trace and update infrastructure projects like highways, SEZs, expressways, and industrial corridors, and integrate them into our internal systems.
• Zoning Framework Development:
• Create structured, zone-wise summaries of building byelaws (FSI, setbacks, permissible uses, etc.), customized by state and urban authority.
• Collaboration with Research Team:
• Work closely with research associates to convert their findings into structured spatial layers
• Data Cleanup and Validation:
• Ensure digitized layers are accurate, aligned, and are easy to use format.

Skills and Requirements:

• Proficiency in GIS tools like QGIS, ArcGIS, or similar.
• Familiarity in PDF maps, shapefiles, and scanned documents to extract usable information.
• Ability to interpret zoning regulations and urban planning norms.
• Good spatial sense and attention to detail—small alignment errors matter.
• Curious & Self-Learner: Able to figure things out in areas like urban planning, infrastructure policy, or GIS techniques.
• Bonus: Knowledge of building byelaws, municipal development authorities, or previous work with infrastructure data.

Salary: ₹20,000 to ₹30,000 per month + performance-based incentives

Location: Khajaguda, Hyderabad (Work from Office )
