Department: Data Engineering
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Google Cloud Data Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of a robust, scalable, and reliable platform that aligns with our exponential growth trajectory. In this role, you will be instrumental in architecting and implementing a cutting-edge backend infrastructure that facilitates near real-time data delivery using next-generation technologies. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring our data systems can meet the demands of our rapidly expanding business while maintaining optimal performance and reliability.
- Design and implement scalable data pipelines using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, ensuring efficient data processing and storage for enterprise-level applications
- Develop and optimize ETL processes using Dataflow and Dataproc, transforming raw data into actionable insights for business decision-making
- Architect and maintain robust data warehousing solutions with BigQuery, enabling advanced analytics and machine learning capabilities
- Create and manage real-time data streaming solutions using Pub/Sub, ensuring seamless data flow across various GCP services
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications, demonstrating strong communication skills
- Implement data security and governance measures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Continuously optimize data infrastructure for performance, cost-efficiency, and scalability, showcasing a seeker mindset and passion towards work
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for data processes, pipelines, and infrastructure, reflecting ownership and attention to detail
