Hardware & Network Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated IT Support Engineer for field assignments to provide on-site technical support for hardware and networking-related issues. The role involves installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT infrastructure at client locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform installation, setup, and configuration of desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT peripherals.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues (laptop/desktop repair, component replacement, etc.).
• Setup and manage LAN/WAN networks, including configuration of managed/unmanaged switches, routers, and Wi-Fi access points.
• Handle basic server tasks like domain joining, Active Directory support, and group policy configuration (if required).
• Assist in configuring and maintaining firewall devices (Sophos, Fortinet, etc.).
• Provide basic support for CCTV systems, IP cameras, and biometric attendance systems.
• Ensure timely documentation and reporting of issues, resolutions, and inventory.
• Travel to client sites as required to provide on-field IT support.
• Coordinate with internal teams and escalate issues when necessary.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum qualification: 12th Pass (ITI/Diploma in Computer Hardware/Networking preferred)
• 1–5 years of experience in IT hardware and networking support
• Strong knowledge of PC hardware, networking concepts, and troubleshooting techniques
• Hands-on experience with Wi-Fi setup, switches, firewalls, IPBX/EPABX, and peripheral devices
• Ability to work independently at field sites with minimal supervision
• Good communication and client-handling skills
• Must be open to field visits and travel to Kolkata or Indore as per assignment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹9,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
