Hardware Test Engineer

Job Introduction

As an experienced Hardware test Engineer, you will be involved in the electronics design & development and requirements engineering of the traction inverter for electric vehicles.

Major Responsibilities

• Hardware design and development
• Understanding and selection of HW components like MOSFETs, gate drivers ICs, sensors, filters etc.
• Experience of handling high voltage instruments, and electronics hardware testing in lab, board testing, board bring up etc.
• Understanding of circuit simulation tools e.g. LTSPice
• Experience in using basic test equipment like Oscilloscopes, Power meters, electronic loads etc.
• Hands on experience in creating schematics in Altium or similar software.
• Good to have knowledge of PCB design reviews, component engineering for BOM management.
  
  

Knowledge And Education

• Bachelors in Electronics/Electrical engineering or equivalent from reputed university/institution.
  
  

Work Experience

• 2 to 5 years of experience in Hardware testing or relevant job experience.
  
  

Skills And Competencies

• Experience in understanding hardware requirement engineering process.
• Manages communication and alignment with all affected stakeholders.
• Very good written and spoken English skills.
