Role Overview

Join our Data Analytics team as a Senior Engineer II, where you will build enterprise-level reporting solutions using Fabric Power BI. In this role, you will work with diverse data sources—including Snowflake, Azure, AWS, JIRA, and ServiceNow—to analyze, model, and visualize data across multiple systems. Collaborating closely with the platform engineering team, you will drive the development of end-to-end BI solutions, ensuring robust governance and security within Fabric while delivering insightful, real-time dashboards.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical leader for products delivered by the team.
• Contribute to all phases of development and operations, ensuring production readiness and performance.
• Discover and implement innovative tools and best practices in your area of expertise.
• Collaborate with platform and cross-functional technology teams to build semantic data models and create actionable reports and dashboards.
• Configure and manage security settings together with the platform administration team.
• Drive continuous improvement efforts in both process and technology, with an emphasis on efficiency, security, and reliability.
• Participate actively in day-to-day production releases and on-call support, acting as an escalation point when necessary.
• Monitor key performance metrics and recommend improvements to enhance system performance and user experience.
• Facilitate the Engineering Community of Practice and contribute to automation and production-level systems.

What We Look For

Skills:

• Experience with Snowflake and Azure technologies for enterprise-level data analytics.
• Proficiency in scripting and data science languages, including SQL, Python, PowerShell, and JavaScript.
• Deep understanding of real-time reporting solutions and expertise in Fabric Power BI.
• Ability to create semantic data models, develop insightful dashboards, and utilize visualization tools effectively.
• Proven ability to anticipate system/application challenges and design innovative, reliable solutions.

Qualifications

Demonstrated experience with enterprise data analytics solutions and platforms.

Proven track record in technical leadership within data-driven environments.

Experience participating in design and code reviews, work estimation, and release planning.

Bonus Points: Familiarity with AWS, JIRA, ServiceNow, and managing security configurations in complex systems.
