Hiring: QA Engineer – Siliguri (Full-Time, Appycodes)

Overview

Appycodes is looking for a QA Engineer to join our team in Siliguri. This is a full-time role focused primarily on manual testing, quality processes, and ensuring seamless product releases. If you're sharp, process-driven, and enjoy catching issues before they reach users, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute clear and thorough manual test cases for features and flows
• Work closely with the development team to understand functionality and catch potential issues early
• Participate in bug triage and root cause discussions
• Flag risks and quality concerns proactively during planning and development
• Continuously improve QA processes and suggest practical solutions
• Take ownership of QA tools used for manual testing and task management

You Should Have

• Strong grasp of manual testing techniques and user-centric test design
• Understanding of web application flows and common user interactions
• Experience with bug tracking and documentation tools (like Jira or Trello)
• Attention to detail and a questioning mindset
• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with basic automation concepts, even if not hands-on
• Experience with QA in Agile or fast-paced development environments

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
