Job Descritpion of IAM - Business Analyst

8 to 10 Years Relevant Experience

Key Responsibilities

• Define priorities and scope; ensure on-time, within scope, and on budget delivery.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans; manage resources, schedules, and budgets.
• Proven experience in driving project change initiatives.
• Ensure project aligns with organisational goals and regulatory requirements.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Collaborate with business units, IT teams, and external vendors to gather requirements and ensure smooth project execution.
• Provide regular project updates to senior management and other stakeholders.

Governance and Compliance

• Experience of working in a regulated environment with exposure to global regulatory requirements, including GDPR, SOX, PCI DSS, and ISO 27001.
• Implement robust governance practices to manage risks and ensure compliance.

Team Coordination and Leadership

• Lead cross-functional teams, work alongside project managers, control owners, business analysts, and technical specialists.
• Foster collaboration and resolve conflicts to maintain project momentum.
• Proven track record of working with technical, cybersecurity and/or operations teams.
• Lead geographically disbursed teams and pull them together to achieve common objectives.
• Excellent written and verbal communications.

Process Improvement

• Continuously evaluate processes and propose enhancements to improve efficiency, scalability, and security.
• Develop and implement best practices for project delivery.

Risk and Issue Management

• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Proactively manage issues and dependencies to avoid project delays.

Documentation

• Prepare documentation for project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
• Include project charter, project plan, status reports, performance reports, and project closeout reports.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Minimum 7–10 years of project management experience.

Project Management Skills

• Expertise in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project management methodologies.
• Proficiency in using project management tools like JIRA, Microsoft Project, or equivalent.

Education and Certification

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Project Management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP).

Technical Expertise

• Familiarity with Active Directory (AD) and Microsoft EntraID/Azure AD.
• Knowledge of authentication protocols: Kerberos, LDAP, SAML, OIDC, OAuth.
• Ability to lead technical discussions and explain benefits of various authentication protocols.
• Experience working with applications/platforms integrating with identity providers.
• Ability to analyse, review, and adapt to different technologies.
• Proficient in data analysis and producing detailed management MI.
• Experience engaging stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to gather IAM-related use cases and detailed requirements (functional and non-functional).
• Technical understanding of infrastructure technologies.
• Capability to optimise processes for efficiency.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Positive team player working as part of a large team.
• Accountability for deliverables with a proven track record of on-time delivery.

Good-to-Have Qualifications

• Understanding of banking operations, core banking systems, and payment platforms.
• Familiarity with risk management frameworks such as NIST or COBIT.

Technical Expertise

• Knowledge of Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) technologies.
• Understanding of FIDO-based authentication.
• Experience working with global teams.
• Strong process mapping and analytical skills.
• IAM technology experience.
