Job Description & Summary:

As Sr. Data Engineer with experience of up to 10 years, you will be responsible for providing technical solution to Business problem in Datawarehouse and Data Lake.

Responsibilities:

You will be closely working with business team during requirement gathering and further collaborating with other teams to develop a solution.

• Hands-on designing, building, and maintaining Data Lake and Data Warehouse on AWS or Azure to support Data and AI/ML workloads.
• Should have a fair knowledge on Data storage, data security, data cataloging of data lake.
• Should have a fair knowledge on programming languages like Python, PySpark and SQL.
• Strong understanding of AWS cloud components like S3, Redshift, DMS, Glue, Athena, Airflow, EMR, NiFi and any ETL tool
• Should have experience of 8-10 years in data engineering and development.
• Should have experience of various data architecture patterns of Data Lake and Data warehouse
• Should have experience of various data modelling techniques, data design patterns, Star Schema etc.
• Should have exposure to internal working of various Reporting tools like Power BI, Quicksight etc.
• Ability to multitask across different tracks
• Proven experience in design, architecture review and Impact Analysis of Technical changes.
• Hands on knowledge on various cloud platforms like AWS.
• Proven experience in working with large teams
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• Excellent Interpersonal Skills
• Highly self-motivated and eager to learn. Always watching out for new technologies and adopting appropriate ones for improving your productivity, as well as the quality & effectiveness of your deliverables.
• Should be able to do POCs on emerging technologies.
• Well versed with the emerging Technology Trends
• Working experience of Generative AI will be a big plus
