Job Description & Summary: A career within Data and Analytics services will provide you with the opportunity to help organisations uncover enterprise insights and drive business results using smarter data analytics. We focus on a collection of organisational technology capabilities, including business intelligence, data management, and data assurance that help our clients drive innovation, growth, and change within their organisations in order to keep up with the changing nature of customers and technology. Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of data engineers focused on building and maintaining data pipelines in GCP.
• Manage the end-to-end delivery of data solutions on GCP, from data ingestion to processing, storage, and visualization.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and innovation within the team.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., data science, analytics, product, and business teams) to understand data requirements and translate them into effective solutions.
• Set clear objectives, manage workloads, and ensure timely delivery of data initiatives.
  
  
  

Data Architecture and Engineering

• Design and implement robust and scalable data architectures on Google Cloud, leveraging GCP services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and Dataproc.
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for processing and transforming large datasets.
• Ensure best practices for data governance, quality, security, and compliance are followed in data architecture and engineering.
• Collaborate with DevOps and Cloud Infrastructure teams to deploy and manage infrastructure for data systems.
  
  
  

Technical Strategy and Innovation

• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in the data engineering field and Google Cloud Platform, recommending innovative solutions to improve team efficiency and product offerings.
• Continuously improve data workflows, processing speeds, and data storage strategies.
• Provide technical leadership and ensure data engineering practices align with company goals and data-driven initiatives.
