Position Overview:
We are currently hiring for the position of Information Security Consultant at Veave Technologies Pvt. Ltd. This opportunity is well-suited for candidates from an Engineering or Computer Science background who have prior work experience in their domain but have taken a career break, and are now looking to restart their career in the field of Information Security, Compliance, and IT Consulting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct security assessments and gap analysis (e.g., ISO 27001, ISO 20000).
- Assist clients in preparing for audits and achieving compliance certifications.
- Develop and maintain information security policies, procedures, and documentation.
- Identify security risks and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Guide clients on compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., ISO, GDPR).
- Conduct security awareness sessions and basic cybersecurity training.
- Support clients in setting up incident response and business continuity plans.
- Coordinate with technical teams to implement security controls and measures.
- Prepare reports on security findings, risk status, and compliance progress.
