IOS Developer

Overview

Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented iOS Developer to join our mobile development team. You will be responsible for the development and maintenance of applications aimed at a range of iOS devices including mobile phones and tablets. Your primary focus will be the development of iOS applications and their integration with back-end services. You will work alongside other engineers and developers working on different layers of the infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Design and build advanced applications for the iOS platform using Swift (and Objective-C if needed)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Work with outside data sources and APIs
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Maintain code quality, organization, and automatization

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an iOS Developer or similar role
• Proficient in Swift and familiar with Objective-C
• Experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, etc.
• Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines
• Experience with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services
• Knowledge of cloud message APIs and push notifications
• Familiarity with continuous integration and Git
• Strong understanding of the full mobile development life cycle

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
• Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., XCTest)
• Familiarity with modern architectural patterns like MVVM, MVP, VIPER
• Published one or more iOS apps in the App Store
