iOS Developer – Metal Framework Specialist

Overview

About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled iOS Developer with hands-on experience using Metal, Apple’s low-level graphics and compute API. This role involves working on high-performance rendering, real-time graphics, and optimizing visual features within a native iOS application.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and optimize real-time rendering features using Metal
• Collaborate with product designers and engineers to create visually rich, interactive experiences
• Work with Core Animation, Core Graphics, and UIKit
• Profile and improve app performance, memory usage, and rendering pipeline
• Follow clean architecture patterns and write maintainable, testable Swift code
• Work independently and communicate progress regularly

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in Swift and native iOS development
• Proven expertise in Metal API (ideally with portfolio or live app examples)
• Understanding of GPU performance tuning and shader optimization
• Familiarity with Core Animation, SceneKit, or ARKit is a plus
• Ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code

Nice to Have:

• Experience with real-time visual effects, simulations, or custom graphics engines
• Exposure to game development or augmented reality
• Previous contributions to open-source graphics tools or engines
