Job Description: IT Administrator

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled IT Administrator with a strong background in Azure and AWS cloud platforms. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience working with Azure and AWS, along with expertise in system administration, network management, and security protocols. This individual will play a key role in maintaining and optimizing our cloud infrastructure to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our IT systems.

Responsibilities:

Cloud Infrastructure Management:

• Manage and administer Azure and AWS cloud environments, including provisioning, configuration, monitoring, and optimization.
• Implement best practices for cloud resource management, cost optimization, and performance tuning.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of cloud-based services and applications.

System Administration:

• Administer Windows and Linux servers, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of operating systems and applications.
• Perform system updates, patches, and upgrades in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Monitor system performance and conduct regular health checks to identify and address potential issues proactively.

Network Management:

• Configure and maintain network infrastructure components such as routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Monitor network traffic, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and optimize network performance.
• Implement and enforce network security policies, including access control and data encryption.

Security and Compliance:

• Implement and maintain security controls, including identity and access management, encryption, and intrusion detection.
• Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate potential risks.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, such as GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI DSS.

Backup and Disaster Recovery:

• Develop and implement backup and disaster recovery plans to ensure data integrity and business continuity.
• Test backup systems and recovery procedures regularly to verify their effectiveness and reliability.
• Respond promptly to data loss incidents and execute recovery procedures as needed.

Documentation and Reporting

• Maintain up-to-date documentation of IT systems, configurations, and procedures.
• Generate reports on system performance, availability, and security metrics for management review.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide status updates and recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an IT Administrator or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in Azure and AWS cloud platforms, including hands-on experience with cloud services such as EC2, S3, Azure VMs, Azure Blob Storage, etc.
• Experience with system administration tasks on Windows and Linux servers.
• Knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, etc.).
• Familiarity with security best practices and compliance requirements in cloud environments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Certifications such as AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, or equivalent are a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹600,000.00 per year
