Overview
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Administrator to manage, secure, and optimize
our cloud-based infrastructure built on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate
will be responsible for maintaining core IT systems, ensuring high availability, security
compliance, and seamless integration across tools such as GitHub, Google Workspace, and
payment gateways.
This role requires a balance of cloud engineering, system administration, security, and
automation expertise to support a fast-growing SaaS environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Cloud Infrastructure Management (GCP)
- Design, deploy, and maintain scalable infrastructure on GCP (Compute Engine,
- Cloud Run, GKE, VPC, IAM)
- Monitor system performance, uptime, and cost optimization
- Implement backup, disaster recovery, and high availability strategies
2. Identity & Access Management
- Manage roles, permissions, and policies using GCP IAM
- Administer Google Workspace (users, groups, SSO, security policies)
- Enforce least privilege and access governance
3. DevOps & Code Repository Support
* Manage and support GitHub repositories, access controls, and integrations
* Assist in CI/CD pipeline setup and maintenance
* Collaborate with engineering teams for deployment workflows
4. Security & Compliance
- Implement security best practices across cloud and SaaS tools
- Monitor vulnerabilities, logs, and threats
- Ensure compliance with standards (ISO 27001, SOC2 – preferred)
5. Payment Gateway SaaS Integration Support
- Support integration and uptime of payment gateways (e.g., Stripe, Razorpay)
- Monitor API connectivity and troubleshoot issues
- Ensure secure handling of financial transactions
6. Network & System Administration
- Configure and manage VPCs, firewalls, DNS, load balancers
- Maintain VPNs, secure remote access, and endpoint policies
- Oversee system updates, patching, and endpoint security
7. Monitoring & Incident Management
- Set up monitoring tools (Cloud Monitoring, Logging)
- Handle alerts, outages, and root cause analysis (RCA)
- Maintain incident response and escalation procedures
8. Automation & Optimization
- Workflow Automation: Process-centric, optimizing sequences across systems
- RPA: Task-centric, focusing on individual, structured tasks like Zapier, OKTA
- Optimize infrastructure for cost and performance
- Maintain documentation for systems and processes
Required Skills (Must-Have / Major Skills)
- Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Expertise in: Compute Engine, Cloud Run / GKE and VPC, IAM, Load Balancing
- Experience managing Google Workspace Admin Console
- Solid understanding of networking concepts (DNS, VPN, firewalls)
- Experience with GitHub (repo management, access control, CI/CD basics)
- Knowledge of Linux system administration
- Experience with cloud security best practices
- Scripting knowledge (Shell Script / VBA Scripts / Power Shell)
- Familiarity with monitoring & logging tools
Preferred Skills (Good-to-Have / Minor Skills)
- Exposure to Kubernetes (GKE)
- Knowledge of payment gateway integrations (Stripe, Razorpay, PayPal)
- Good understanding on CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
- Understanding of compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO 27001)
- Experience with endpoint management & MDM tools
- Familiarity with API integrations and webhooks
- Basic knowledge of databases (Cloud SQL, supabase)
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
3–6 years of experience in IT Infrastructure / Cloud Administration
GCP certifications (Associate Cloud Engineer / Professional Cloud Architect) –preferred
