The Information and Technology Solutions (ITS) Vice Presidential Unit (VPU) enables the World Bank Group to achieve its mission of ending extreme poverty and boost shared prosperity on a livable planet by delivering transformative information and technologies to its staff working in over 150+ locations. Our vision is to transform how the Bank Group accomplishes its mission through information and technology. In this fast-paced, ever-changing world, the formulation and implementation of the ITS strategy is an ongoing, iterative process of learning and adaptation developed through extensive consultations with business partners throughout the World Bank Group.

ITS shapes its strategy in response to changing business priorities and leverages new technologies to achieve three high-level business outcomes: business enablement, by providing Bank Group units with innovative digital tools and technologies to transform how they deliver value for their clients; empowerment & effectiveness, by ensuring that all Bank Group staff are connected, able to find information, and productive to accelerate the delivery of development solutions globally; and resilience, by equipping the Bank Group to provide risk-based cybersecurity and robust data protection for a global network and a growing cloud platform.

Implementation of the strategy is guided by three core principles. The first is to deliver solutions for business partners that are customer-centric, innovative, and transformative. The second is to provide the Bank Group with value for money with selective and standard technologies. The third principle is to excel at the basics by providing a high performing, robust, and resilient IT environment for the organization.

The incumbent will provide the end-to-end RPA solutions, considering scalability, flexibility, and alignment with business objectives.

As a unit within the Finance ITS (ITSTO), ITSSG is responsible for defining technology strategy and governance frameworks to align technology initiatives with WBG’s business goals. The unit fosters cross-functional collaboration among tech teams, business units and external partners to ensure WBG’s needs are met. ITSSG promotes governance and process alignment to catalyze business agility and optimizes technology investments to enable innovation, efficient scaling, compliance, resilience, and sustainability.

Job Description

• RPA developer should have significant experience with a focus on complex and large-scale automation projects.
• Should possess as an SME in Automation360, IQ BOT, Discovery BOT, AARI (AA Robotic Interface).
• Create comprehensive documentation for RPA architectures, design decisions, and best practices.
• Should be an expert in RPA Tool such as Automation Anywhere or UiPath or BluePrism.
• Should have experience in the programming languages like C#, Python, .Net and Java script.
  
  

Selection Criteria

• Masters or Bachelors with a minimum of 4 years of experience.
• Should have certified Automation Anywhere Certified Advanced RPA Professional & Automation Anywhere Certified Master RPA Professional

• Perform day-to-day administration of RPA.
• Architect end-to-end RPA solutions, considering scalability, flexibility, and alignment with business objectives.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze automation requirements.
• Translate business processes into efficient and effective RPA solutions.
• Evaluate and recommend RPA tools based on project requirements, considering factors such as scalability, security, and integration capabilities.
• Establish and enforce RPA governance policies, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and organizational standards
• Oversee the integration of RPA solutions with existing systems, ensuring seamless interoperability.
• Provide technical leadership to RPA development teams, guiding them in implementing architectural best practices.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with RPA implementations, including security, data privacy, and system dependencies.
• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, explaining complex technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner
