As an IT Business Analyst within the BST Grid Integration (GI) Application Delivery Team, you will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing a portfolio of critical business applications that support our Grid Integration initiatives. You will work closely with stakeholders, development, and operations to ensure our application landscape delivers maximum business value, innovation, and user satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary Business Analyst for a portfolio of Grid Integration Business Applications, ensuring they meet evolving business needs and strategic goals.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, and operations teams to gather requirements, define solutions, and drive continuous improvement.
- Analyze business processes and translate them into functional and technical requirements for application enhancements or new solutions.
- Support lifecycle management of applications, ensuring compliance, security, and alignment with industry best practices.
- Facilitate workshops, stakeholder meetings, and documentation to ensure clarity and alignment across teams.
- Identify opportunities to streamline the application landscape, reduce complexity, and foster innovation.
- Drive GI BST BAU operations of entire portfolio of applications by collaborating with Application Manager & all internal & external stakeholders including Business Owners.
- Proven experience as an IT Business Analyst or similar role in a complex IT environment, preferably within the energy, utilities, or industrial sectors.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand and model business processes and translate them into actionable requirements.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across diverse teams and cultures.
- Experience working with development and operations teams to deliver high-quality application support and enhancements.
- Familiarity with application lifecycle management, compliance, and security standards.
- Experience in Azure DevOps and ITSM tools (such as ServiceNow, Jira, etc.) is a plus but not a requirement.
- Fluency in English is highly required.
