IT Executive

Overview

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced IT Executive to manage and support the IT infrastructure of our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the seamless functioning of IT systems, including server management, network administration, cyber security, and hardware/software support across our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Server & Network Management

• Manage and maintain servers, including backup, security, and upgrades.
• Ensure high availability and reliability of server infrastructure (physical and virtual servers).
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize network efficiency (LAN/WAN/WiFi).
• Administer firewalls, switches, routers, and VPNs.

IT Infrastructure & End-User Support

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware (PCs, printers, scanners) and software (ERP, productivity tools).
• Provide technical support to users on IT-related issues (onsite & remote).
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and security access across systems.
• Maintain an inventory of IT assets and ensure timely procurement, upgrades, and replacements.

Data Backup & Security

• Ensure regular data backups and recovery procedures are in place and tested.
• Implement cybersecurity measures to protect against data breaches, malware, and other threats.
• Monitor IT systems for security incidents and respond promptly to security breaches.

IT Policy & Compliance

• Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices in line with company and industry standards.
• Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and audit requirements.

ERP/Software Support

• Assist in ERP system maintenance, user training, and troubleshooting.
• Liaise with software vendors for upgrades, patches, and technical support.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of server management (Windows/Linux environments).
• Hands-on experience with networking equipment
• Familiarity with cybersecurity tools and best practices.
• Proficient in backup solutions, disaster recovery planning, and business continuity.
• Good knowledge of ERP systems (experience with manufacturing ERP is a plus).
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks in a manufacturing environment.
