Job Summary
Euploid Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced and proactive IT Support Executive to manage and support IT infrastructure and operations at our Mysore manufacturing facility. The candidate should be well-versed in IT systems relevant to the pharmaceutical industry, ensuring compliance with GxP regulations, data integrity, and system validations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain all plant IT infrastructure including desktops, laptops, printers, network equipment, and pharma-specific systems.
- Provide Level 1 and 2 support to plant users across production, QC, QA, and warehouse departments.
- Ensure validated systems (LIMS, ERP, HPLC integration, etc.) function seamlessly and meet regulatory compliance.
- Handle installation, configuration, and maintenance of GxP-compliant software and systems.
- Monitor and manage LAN/WAN, routers, switches, and firewall configurations ensuring 24/7 connectivity and security.
- Manage plant-specific ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Tally Prime, or pharma-custom ERP solutions).
- Maintain secure and compliant data backup and disaster recovery processes as per SOPs.
- Track IT assets and licenses; maintain accurate and updated documentation for audits.
- Collaborate with QA and validation teams for IT system validations and audit readiness.
- Liaise with vendors for AMC, warranty, and pharma-specific software/hardware procurement.
- Enforce IT and data security protocols to comply with pharma regulatory standards (FDA, WHO-GMP, etc.).
- Support internal and external IT audits; prepare documentation and ensure compliance with data integrity policies.
- Troubleshoot and document incidents and resolutions per CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) framework.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree/diploma in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience with IT support in pharma manufacturing or regulated industries.
- Strong knowledge of hardware troubleshooting and OS administration (Windows/Linux).
- Good understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS) and devices (switches, routers, firewalls).
- Familiarity with pharma-compliant systems such as LIMS, SCADA, BMS, and validated software systems.
- Experience with backup solutions, antivirus, patch management, and endpoint protection.
- Understanding of 21 CFR Part 11, ALCOA+ principles, and GAMP5 guidelines is highly desirable.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and standard enterprise software.
Desirable Certifications
- CompTIA A+, Network+
- Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
- Cisco CCNA (Preferred)
- Certified Professional in Pharmaceutical IT Systems (Optional, preferred for pharma domain)
