
Overview
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented IT Executive to manage day-to-day IT operations including hardware troubleshooting, network support, CCTV maintenance, server backups (including NaaS), IT inventory tracking, vendor coordination, and employee onboarding for IT assets. The role also includes setting up and configuring emails via Microsoft Outlook and ensuring timely maintenance of the IT Register.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Hardware Support & Troubleshooting
- Diagnose and resolve hardware issues for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
- Perform system upgrades, installations, and routine maintenance.
- Maintain asset health and suggest hardware replacements as needed.
2. Networking & CCTV
- Manage LAN/WAN configurations, switch/router setup, and basic firewall rules.
- Monitor and maintain the office internet and network uptime.
- Maintain and troubleshoot IP-based CCTV camera setups and ensure recording storage is functional and secure.
3. NaaS Server & Data Backup
- Coordinate and monitor scheduled server backups (local/cloud/NaaS).
- Ensure data integrity and recovery processes are in place and tested.
- Escalate backup failures to appropriate stakeholders and vendors.
4. Inventory & Asset Management
- Maintain and regularly update IT asset inventory including laptops, desktops, software licenses, and peripherals.
- Conduct physical audits and ensure alignment with the IT Register.
- Tag and document new assets as part of onboarding and maintain handover records.
5. Vendor Coordination
- Liaise with IT hardware, software, and service vendors for timely delivery, AMC, and support requests.
- Raise purchase requests and follow up on pending issues or procurement.
6. IT Onboarding & Outlook Configuration
- Set up new employee systems with required software, email credentials, and access.
- Configure and troubleshoot Microsoft Outlook (POP/IMAP/Exchange settings).
- Support employees with day-to-day application and access issues.
7. Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain IT Register, log IT incidents, and track resolutions.
- Ensure adherence to internal IT policies, data security standards, and compliance guidelines.
Key Skills Required:
- Knowledge of Windows OS, basic networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Familiarity with NaaS or cloud backup tools
- Experience with CCTV systems and video storage solutions
- Proficiency in Outlook configuration and troubleshooting
- Strong coordination and communication skills
- Familiarity with IT asset management software is a plus
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum 2–4 years of relevant experience in IT support roles
- Certifications like CompTIA A+, N+, MCP, or similar are preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹22,500.00 per month
