Job Title: IT Executive

Reports To: IT Manager / Plant Head

Job Purpose:

To manage and support IT systems, infrastructure, and applications within the pharmaceutical manufacturing unit, ensuring data integrity, compliance with regulatory requirements, and smooth functioning of IT operations to support production, quality, and business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain IT hardware (servers, desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, networking devices, etc.).
• Manage ERP systems, Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), and other pharma-related software applications.
• Ensure data backup, recovery, and cybersecurity measures are implemented and monitored.
• Provide end-user support for software and hardware troubleshooting.
• Maintain and monitor LAN/WAN, firewalls, routers, and other network infrastructure.
• Implement and maintain IT policies as per pharma industry compliance (21 CFR Part 11, GxP guidelines).
• Coordinate with vendors for AMC, software licenses, hardware procurement, and IT services.
• Monitor and manage access control, user rights, and data security.
• Support production and quality control teams in handling software/hardware used for manufacturing and testing equipment.
• Maintain IT documentation (SOPs, validation protocols, backup logs, incident reports).
• Ensure minimal downtime of IT systems critical to production and compliance.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology / Computer Science / Electronics or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in IT support, preferably in the pharmaceutical / manufacturing industry.
• Knowledge of GxP, 21 CFR Part 11 compliance, and IT validation practices in pharma.
• Strong knowledge of networking, Windows/Linux servers, ERP, and database management.
• Hands-on experience in troubleshooting hardware, software, and networking issues.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity practices and IT audit requirements.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
