Overview
Position Summary
The IT Executive ensures the smooth and efficient operation of the company's information technology systems. The role provides essential technical support to employees, manages IT equipment, and helps implement IT policies and security measures to support business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
· Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Provide first-line technical support to internal staff for hardware, software, and network-related issues, both in-person and remotely.
· Hardware/Software Management: Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware (laptops, desktops, printers, mobile devices) and software applications.
· Network Administration: Assist in monitoring and managing the company's internal network (LAN, WAN, VPN), troubleshooting connectivity issues, and ensuring seamless communication systems.
· System Maintenance: Perform routine system checks, updates, and backups to ensure optimal performance, security, and data integrity.
· User Onboarding /Offboarding: Manage user accounts and permissions, setting up new employees with required IT equipment and access, and securing access upon departure.
· Inventory Management: Maintain an accurate inventory of all IT equipment and software licenses, assisting with procurement when necessary.
· Security & Compliance: Ensure compliance with company IT policies and security procedures, assisting with the implementation of cybersecurity measures like two-factor authentication.
· Documentation: Document all support activities, resolutions, processes, and procedures using a ticketing system or work logs.
· Collaboration & Projects: Collaborate with the IT team and other departments on various projects, such as system upgrades, software deployments, and new technology implementations.
Qualifications & Skills
· Education: A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is typically required.
· Experience: Proven 2-3 years experience in an IT support or desktop support role.
· Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of operating systems (Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, Thin client, Google Family Links, EPBAX ,Wi-Fi, Camera systems, Printer ).
· Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues quickly.
· Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical staff in a clear and patient manner.
· Certifications: Relevant certifications and fundamentals are beneficial.
· Personal Attributes: Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to ₹20,000.00 per month
