Job Summary:

Matrix Geo Solutions Limited is looking for a hands-on IT Executive with 1 year of experience to support day-to-day IT infrastructure, hardware, and software operations.

The role involves managing systems, networks, and user support, ensuring smooth functioning of IT systems for teams working on GIS, survey, drone, and engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Hardware & System Support

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, and peripherals
• Perform OS installation, upgrades, and system maintenance
• Diagnose and resolve hardware issues

2. Network & Basic IT Infrastructure

• Assist in managing LAN/Wi-Fi connectivity
• Basic knowledge of IP addressing, DHCP, DNS
• Support in router, switch, and internet troubleshooting

3. Data Backup & Storage

• Take regular data backups (local/NAS)
• Maintain data organization and storage systems
• Support in basic data recovery tasks

4. Basic Security & System Updates

• Install antivirus and ensure systems are updated
• Follow basic IT security practices
• Monitor system health and performance

5. Software Installation & Support

• Install and support software like MS Office, AutoCAD, GIS tools (basic)
• Assist users in resolving software-related issues
• Maintain software records and licenses

6. Printers & Peripherals

• Configure and manage printers, scanners, and accessories
• Troubleshoot connectivity and driver issues

7. IT Support & Coordination

• Provide daily IT support to internal teams
• Coordinate with senior IT/vendor for major issues
• Maintain basic IT records (systems, assets, issues)

Required Skills:

• Basic knowledge of hardware troubleshooting
• Understanding of networking basics (LAN, IP, Wi-Fi)
• Good problem-solving skills
• Basic knowledge of Windows OS & software installation
• Ability to handle multiple support requests

Eligibility:

• 1 year experience in IT Support / Hardware & Networking
• Diploma / Degree in IT or related field
• Willingness to travel to project sites (if required)
• Immediate joiners preferred
