IT Infrastructure Engineer

Job Description:

We are a reputed Chartered Accountancy firm in Mumbai seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer to independently manage and optimize our internal IT infrastructure. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring high availability, security, and performance of systems supporting the firm's operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the complete IT infrastructure, including desktops, laptops, servers, and networking equipment.

• Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems.

• Monitor and manage network security, firewalls, and internet access policies.

• Ensure compliance with software licensing and timely renewals.

• Manage backup strategies (local/cloud) and perform regular restore drills.

• Administer secure VPN access and remote desktop environments.

• Oversee the email platform (Google Workspace or Microsoft 365) and ensure proper security settings (SPF, DKIM, DMARC).

• Handle endpoint protection, patch management, and data loss prevention (DLP) tools.

• Coordinate with vendors for AMC renewals, hardware repairs, and software support.

• Maintain complete documentation of IT infrastructure, passwords, policies, and SOPs.

• Provide end-user support and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.

Candidate Requirements:

• Minimum 3- 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure and system administration

• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, SQL, networking, and cyber security

• Experience in firewall, VPN, backup management, and email security protocols

• Ability to work independently and manage IT operations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per year
