- Administration of laptops, desktops and server systems that utilize industry best practices to meet corporate objectives.
- IT ticket management, End-user remote support, Office 365 support and and resolving a variety of internal hardware/software issues.
- Active directory user management, permissions, access rights, and storage allocations
- Deploy EC2, Antivirus, local firewalls, encryption, and all host security configuration.
- Monitor and manage IT cloud environments on AWS - Windows and Linux based.
- Manage daily audit processes, backup process, SentinelOne reports, Patch management reports and group notifications etc
- Work closely with Dev/QA/Prod/Support teams to provide support.
- Manage, Monitor, and fix issues generated from applications, cloud and security system
- Handle operating system security patching and monitoring.
- Plan and implement server upgrades, maintenance fixes, and vendor-supplied patches.
- Follow Information security policies and procedures to maintain security
- Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end user and network hardware, peripheral devices, printing/scanning devices, presentation equipment, and mobile devices.
- Worked on AWS monitoring tools and server hosting
- Working technical knowledge of network, Laptops, desktops, and platform operating systems, including MS Office, MS Windows 8, 10, 11 and Server 2016 and beyond.
- Working technical knowledge of current systems software, protocols, and standards, including firewalls, Active Directory,
- Working experience with AWS
- Hands-on software and hardware troubleshooting experience.
- Experience documenting and maintaining configuration and process information.
- Self-Learner: self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.
- Strong customer service orientation, this role will involve regular interaction with internal employees.
- Ability to present ideas and solutions in user-friendly language.
- Good written and oral communication skills; good interpersonal skills are key to this role!
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks.
- Ability to conduct research into hardware and software issues and products as required.
- University degree in the field of computer science
- 3 years relevant work experience.
- Certifications in Microsoft and/or AWS system technologies beneficial
- Be willing and able to work flexible hours, including work in the evenings, midnight shifts, on the weekends and during holidays (scheduled and unscheduled).
- MUST be willing and able to go into the office for shifts (this role is primarily onsite)
