IT Network Engineer

Overview

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented professional to join our IT department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining the organization’s networking systems and infrastructure to ensure seamless connectivity and IT service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, VPN, firewalls, and internet systems.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal uptime and reliability.
• Manage hardware and software upgrades, patches, and system backups.
• Maintain servers, switches, routers, access points, and other network equipment.
• Provide support for network and infrastructure-related queries and incidents.
• Implement network security protocols and monitor threats to safeguard company data.
• Coordinate with vendors for IT procurement and support.
• Document network configurations, topologies, and SOPs.
• Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning and testing.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in IT infrastructure and networking.
• Hands-on experience with routers, switches, firewalls.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and network protocols.
• Experience in Windows/Linux server administration.
• Familiarity with virtualization.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Pay: From ₹25,000.00 per month
