IT & Network Security Engineer MSOC

Prime Infoserv is looking for committed professionals to join our Managed Security Operations Centre (MSOC) as an IT & Network Security Engineer. If you’re ready to support enterprise-grade systems and want to work in a collaborative, 24x7 environment, this role is for you.

️ Your Responsibilities:

• Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot IT systems including:
  Windows Server, Active Directory, VMware, Microsoft Exchange (On-Prem & Cloud), Storage, and Network Security Infrastructure

• Provide support for enterprise network and security solutions such as:
  Cisco, Fortinet, Checkpoint, Barracuda

• Manage service requests, incidents, and changes in line with defined processes

• Create and maintain accurate technical documentation and standard operating procedures

• Collaborate with peers and cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve service delivery

• Participate in 24x7 shift operations to ensure consistent system availability

Your Profile:

• Completed IT education (Technical College, Apprenticeship, or University) or equivalent hands-on experience

• Strong knowledge of Windows Server operating systems and Active Directory

• Practical experience in VMware environments (vSphere, vCenter)

• Understanding of network protocols and components:
  Routing, Switching, VPNs, Firewall configuration

• Structured, self-reliant working style and proactive problem-solving attitude

• Team player comfortable in interdisciplinary environments

• Willingness to work in rotational 24x7 shifts, including weekends and holidays

Additional Qualifications (Preferred):

• PowerShell scripting for automation

• Exposure to Microsoft Azure (IaaS, AD Connect, mail routing)

• Experience with Exchange hybrid environments (On-Prem / M365)

• Basic Linux skills (for log review, monitoring, and command-line troubleshooting)

• Experience with NetApp storage systems

• Industry certifications such as MCSA, CCNA, or equivalent
