The IT Pillar Specialist applies their conceptual knowledge of IT Pillar (IT) and with a moderate level of guidance and direction from colleagues and leadership, is responsible for solving a range of straightforward IT Pillar (IT) problems. They will be responsible for analyzing possible solutions using standard procedures, as well as building knowledge of the company, processes, and customers. The IT Pillar Specialist understands key business drivers and applies this knowledge to solve problems in straightforward situations through analysis of possible solutions using technical experience, judgment, and precedents.

They will be responsible for analyzing possible solutions using standard procedures, as well as building knowledge of the company, processes, and customers. The IT Pillar Specialist understands key business drivers and applies this knowledge to solve problems in straightforward situations through analysis of possible solutions using technical experience, judgment, and precedents.
Responsibilities
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- System Configuration and Customization:
- Install & configure AVEVA Diagram application, including creation of required databases based on project needs
- Setting up and configuring the AVEVA Diagrams software to meet project requirements
- Creating and managing project templates and settings
- Maintaining adequate & appropriate licenses for project execution & integration
- User Account Management:
- Managing user accounts and permissions within the software
- Setting up user roles and ensuring appropriate access to features and functions
- Data Management, Integrity & Validation:
- Maintaining project data integrity and security
- Creating, updating, and managing project data
- Implement consistency checks, error tracking, and enforce design rules through AVEVA Engineering Validation tools
- Interoperability & Integration:
- Configure AVEVA P&ID for integration with AVEVA Engineering, AVEVA Instrumentation, and third-party tools
- Reporting & Data Extraction:
- Generate automated reports (line lists, equipment lists, valve lists) using AVEVA reporting tools
- Technical Support:
- Providing technical support to the project team
- Troubleshooting issues and ensuring the software functions correctly
- Conduct training sessions for users to enhance their expertise in utilizing the software effectively
Essential Qualifications and Education:
- Degree in engineering or equivalent technical diploma with strong understanding of current Engineering and design processes. Good understanding of engineering practices & project execution concepts
- Strong understanding of AVEVA Diagrams Software: In-depth knowledge of the software's functionality and features
- Project specific Symbol & Stencil creation
- Understanding of Microsoft Visio and troubleshooting experience
- Template creation
- UDET & UDA creation in lexicon and troubleshooting experience.
- Data reports for Pipelines & Pipeline components creation
- Understanding of PML for macros
- Understating Data integration with other AVEVA Tools
- Experience in Software Configuration and Management: Ability to set up and manage software configurations.
- Project Management Knowledge: Understanding of project management principles and practices.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the engineering and construction industries.
- Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with team members and stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively
