About Job
The Scrum Master ensures the DevOPs team works according Agile SAFe and also coaches/improves the team. He/she shows natural leadership and let the team excel as a group. The Scrum Master promotes collaboration & improvements by coaching team members on positive attitude & behavior. This position is based out of Bangalore, India and offers the opportunity to work in a globally distributed team where the Scrum Master gets a unique opportunity of personal development in a multi-cultural environment. Main responsibilities:
- Supports the Product managers and stakeholders in the SAFe process and increasing DevOps maturity and efficiency. - Apply & improve the use of Agile SAFe methodology within the team. - Define Processes; Inspect and adapt process and Way Of Working. - Be the “go to person” with respect to Scrum. - Organize and facilitate scrum meetings, sprint planning and retrospective discussions. - Empower teams to self-organize and grow cross-functionality, lead improvements. - Plans and aligns development, deployments and releases with stakeholders & team members. - Should be able to handle Change Requests and (Re) Plan with minimum distractions to PI objective. - Structure the team’s workload, help in prioritizing tasks, protect the team from becoming overloaded. - Resolves impediments that keep the teams and program from progress. - Improve the communication (structure) internally, as well as with IT and business stakeholders. - Coach/guide the team on Agile values and principles to promote continuous improvement, accountability, and transparency in practices and artifacts. - Servant leader and liaison to management.
Job qualifications
- Bachelor degree - Relevant Scrum Master experience for at least 5 years. - Solution-oriented and has a 'do it, try it, fix it' mentality. - Can empathize and is team player / facilitator. - Eager to learn and looks for ways to continuous improve. - Experienced with Agile development frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe). SAFe certification is a plus. - Excellent English communication skills, both oral and written. - Conceptual ITIL Knowledge with understanding of DevOps. - Collaborates to achieve objectives. Build network inside and outside the organization. - Drives results.
